If it makes you feel any better, a friend at work with a father working for our city told me you have to be driving like an absolute fool to get dinged. It’s not like at 51 kph you get a ticket.
I’ve changed my driving style very little and have had no trouble. When I’m out on my own with no traffic around me I’ll slow to 60 kph before going through. There was a n instance I was unable to, and went through at an indicated 65 and still nothing. Don’t worry too much.

Ever since my ticket in NY like almost 10-15 years ago I rarely speed anymore, just follow the traffic. Maybe only on occasion when I feel agitated.

I don’t have an issue with them in school zones, & tight streets.

I read the article. Renforth should be a 60 given its size and location.
Poor city planning and councilors that have the luxury of living where they work are compounding the problem. That isn’t to say that Toronto doesn’t have a ton of asshole drivers that don’t know how to behave. I suppose I’m just disappointed that it has come to this.
